morning all. this game is somewhat mysterious to me. this one solved itself before i could finish marking it. yet sometimes i get stuck on an easy puzzle.

I did not have a problem with yesterday's hard. And I am completely stuck with this one. I agree on the mysterious part :)

I couldn't finish yesterday's to save my life.

i'm with sprite, i don't think I even hardly marked yesterday's, but this one sits here and MOCKS me

The question is, does seeing the board help with finishing the puzzle?

Well, it could be argued that an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite number of computers could solve it without looking at the board... but I find it usually helps :)

pretty good. today, sadly, i was too tired to go to normandy, which i really wanted to do. i'm having a good relax-day, but i wish it didn't have to fall on normandy day.

it's fine. his sister joined us here in paris. it's a little harder with her along. he's very conservative in what he likes to do but she's all, let's go to nightclubs

the parents could make a hard copy, sign it, scan it, email you a .pdf that you could print out and sign. and they could mail you the hard copy so it'd be waiting for you when you got back, if you wanted.

right. they're kinda flaky though.

but i'll suggest it and i'm sure we'll try.

i do it a lot with tutoring bills - email a copy of what i've put in the mail when there's more than one household involved

didn't see any bookstores with english books. my biggest frustrations were simple things like riding the bus and using the dryer. grocery shopping was ok because i'd bring a dictionary with me and people would see me using it and would help. nouns are easy.

it just sounded like an argument between a lady speaking english with an asian accent and a man speaking french.

internet was really helpful, sure, as far as keeping in touch, but I was half-way around the world, so all my friends were out of sync. IM was very lonely and it was hard to get out in the world. I played a lot of The Sims.

I'm a tad compulsive about them. I kept one of the puzzles that was giving me trouble. I got it to a point that should have just melted away and was stuck and forced to guess. I wanted to show it to you.

is this really medium or medium hard

Couldn't do this one without marking. Once I dropped some marks in, though, it was quite easy.

ShadowWolf - I'd put this at Easy-Medium. I never put more than three marks in a square, and most of those dropped out to two quickly.

i didn't even need any markings on this one.. didn't even take 10 minutes

there's one puzzle per day, the difficulty is randomly selected each day, you can find solutions by doing the puzzle.

GEM14, if you sign up as a Pro member, you can play all of the old puzzles as well, some of which are considerably more difficult. As it is, you can see them on screen and solve them on paper. :-)
