Ah ha! I finally found that hidden pair that I missed. It would have been a much easier puzzle if I could have found that pair in the first place.

Oh well, the Swiss army knife of Sudoku (AIC) can break open even the simplest puzzle. Like leaving peanuts on the railroad tracks, the train will break it open for you but it doesn't leave you much to enjoy.
