once I got going it was pretty smooth (but I did use marks which hI have been avoiding mostly)

This one doesn't come easy for me, don't know why.

it is pretty slow going - I didn't get far until I started using the marks and loooked at the whole picture - it is not impossible just a bit tedious - had to figure things out a bit slower than I usually do.

Who says complaining doesn't help? Found an opening right after complaining, lol.

umm, no. a) I can only view them, not easily copy them, and b) you need to ask the author of the web site for permission. Use the contact link at the bottom of the page

i think the beauty of sudoku is that there are no easy answers ;) if people want to do the puzzles, send them here and let them try their mettle

peternl - it's gotta be a fairly simple script to solve sudoku, since it's math and logic

it just does a basic recursion, it is actually pretty easy to solve sudoku by trial and error

i agree, it is a nice site - i won't pay because i was under the impression that rankings wouldn't start counting until a certain day after the site went up - i guess i misunderstood

i believe when the site went up, dr.g said play would not count toward rankings for a couple of weeks while he worked out the bugs, clearly that wasn't the case, so now it's just a wee little grudge i hold & make myself NOT care about the rankings!
