I think what pappa and I found was a hidden pair, the technique that sets hards apart from mediums.

I'm only 4' 20".

It's really hard for me to see hidden pairs, but I have no problem spotting naked triples, quads, and more, which boils down to the same thing.

Also unique rectangles are really easy for me to see but I think they are also considered an advanced technique

Its actually easier to see the hidden pairs when you don't use green and easier to see the naked pairs when you do use green.

Sure you would. If you see a pair of numbers that can only go in 2 cells, that is usually a hidden pair, not a naked pair.
