MamaBear, did you get Sunday's Expert yet? The clue is (and you need to do it three or four times) find a chain of pairs of various linked pairs and a cell with three. Choose a number in the 3-cell and follow in your mind both ways around the chain. If you see a contradiction, the number you picked can be removed. I remember that the first chain involved {2,6}. After that, I don't remember. Good luck.
