i admit that in the past i've been a nasty... they weren't kidding when the called me... well, a witch. but you'll find that nowadays i've mended all my ways - repented, seen the light, and made a switch. true? yes. and i fortunately know a little magic; it's a talent that i always have possessed. and dear lady (please don't laugh) i use it on behalf of the miserable lonely and depressed (pathetic). poor unfortunate souls! in pain, in need - this one longing to be thinner, that one wants to get the girl, and do i help them? yes indeed. poor unfortunate souls - so sad, so true. they come flocking to my cauldron crying "spells, ursula, please!" and i help them, yes i do. now it's happened once or twice, someone couldn't pay the price, and i'm afraid i had to rake 'em cross the coals. yes, i've had the odd complaint, but on the whole i've been a saint to those poor unfortunate souls!

Thanks nilole, I was a fan of the show.

Yw! I just got into it this year since they started showing the new series in the US. I'm hooked!

I liked the ones with Tom Baker as the Doctor.

He tends to be the fan favorite, right? I haven't been able to get my hands on any of his episodes yet, but I have seen the first few episodes with William Hartnell. Great stuff.

I think Christopher Eccleston will always be my favorite though.. he was my first. ;)

I think so. He was probably the first one seen in the US in the 80s when PBS picked up the show.

Ooh, right. I think he had the best outfit, lol.. love the scarf.

And he could fix anything with his sonic screw driver.

Of course! Was he the one that started using it? The first Doctor didn't have it in the eps I saw.

If it was mentioned previous to Dr. #4, then it wasn't much. But I think almost every episode with #4 had at least one reference to the sonic screw driver.

And now it's like his best friend.. he uses it for *everything.*

Have you watched the new series at all? Captain Jack makes fun of it in one episode.. it was pretty funny.
