Thanks for the clarification regarding guilt, lk911. I misinterpreted your first comment -- thought you were saying that Catholic guilt somehow led (helped? drove?) you to high sudoku achievement!

As a lapsed Catholic myself, I had managed to push the guilt to the back of my mind -- but now that you mention it, I'm beginning to feel guilty myself. Like maybe instead of playing sudoku I should be out feeding the poor, or at least cleaning my bathroom!

It's not just a game. Sudoku improves your memory, spacial perception, ability to quickly see what is missing, concentration, visualization, and sequential reasoning. I'm sure Catholics needn't feel guilty about that much mental workout.
