Today is my last day to be young. Tomorrow I'll be 70. Somebody please say something upbeat.

70 is the new 50.... and you are as old as you feel. I have known old 22 year olds and young 80 year olds (one volunteered to look after some 'old people' who were 10 or 15 years younger than her :-D

I hope you're right Digondda. I try to keep cheerful. But I can't help reflecting, both my parents died in their early 70's.

We can't choose the time of our death. But we can choose to make the most of every day between now and then, to be the best we can be, and to have the most fun possible. I hope I have 20 years ahead of me, as both my parents died in their late 70s, but who knows what the futire holds? Carpe Diem!

I haven't been on here for a long time, but I had to come out to say Happy Birthday to UnikeTheHunter. Always remember this - Today was a good day, but tomorrow will be better. (My uplifting thought for the day)
