Continuing in the search for the holey(sp) grail. Every puzzle can be reduced down to a lone single and a pair located in a row, column or box. We know this because there are 81 small boxes, and 81 is not divisible by two.

Eliminate the simple pair sets, they're a given. Somebody said look for patterns. There's some validity to that. Swordfish pattern same as simple pairs, we can eliminate those - not the lone remaining single.

All is divisible by 3 though. 81 boxes. Series of 9 numbers. A lone single and a pair = 3. Today's puzzle ice cream using this logic. Patterns divisible by 2 can't contain the lone single. That's my story and I'm sticking to it (until disproven, ie wrong again lol).
