Jackt: Scalia's legacy will be all the law students who read his opinions and were convinced of his originalist and textualist interpretation of the Constitution.

I don't know enough about his legacy to comment intelligently but it's never stopped me before.

I was at Harvard visiting the architectural dept the day Elena Kagan showed up with purple hair on her first day as the dean of Harvard law. Wasn't a big surprise when the O-man nominated her for SCOTUS later. Which minority faction will be represented this time around? Word is an Indian - Padmanabhan Srikanth "Sri" Srinivasan.

No wonder they call him Sri.

I doubt the nomination will be based on knowledge of Constitutional Law. But I also doubt the person will be unqualified - just extremely (dangerously?) liberal.
