was worried for a minute, eventually found the bugger that unlocked everything.

Feel the Bern Bernie Sanders Wins by Huge Margins Alaska, Hawaii, Washington. Interesting.

Diane
tuco - interesting, but widely expected. No surprises.

Not expected by these margins. Two funny things about this race. I have seen 0 Hillary bumper stickers or lawn signs. I live at the intersection of US 81 and US 86/NY 17. I travel to Ithaca almost daily and have yet to see a Hillary bumper sticker. Bernie is all over the place.

the second funny thing. Wasn't it about 1983 years ago that another Jewish man rose from the dead? Feel the Bern!!!

tuco, lawn signs are an odd thing. I live in Virginia, and we had our primaries (both parties) on March 1. I never saw a single sign for any candidate - either party - until the morning of the election, where there was a single Bernie sign at one polling place. I found it curious that there were no campaigners at any polling place, either (I'm on the electoral board, and on election day, go from precinct to precinct to make sure all is running smoothly). Happy Easter to you, too!

Easy medium - no greens. Happy Easter

I recently discovered, MrOoijer that when the Congratulations screen shows up you have to click on "Close" before you get the points. At least I think that is what happens, but I am not going to test it again!

Maybe a self-virtual and some pairs. Probably could have been called Easy. 22.

Tuco and Diane, if you're rooting for Bernie I hope you know you're in for a disappointment. No matter how many primaries and caucuses he wins, the super delegates are in the bag for Hillary.
2:53 pm
tuco
They said that in 08 drwho. Bernie is within 230 delegates of Mrs. Clinton now.
2:56 pm
tuco
What I am actually rooting for is a Trump v. Sanders matchup. I don't care if I am disappointed. I would love to see a Presidential race between an uber Capitalist and a Democratic Socialist. It would be good for the country.
2:56 pm
drwho
Well, if I were a Democrat, I would prefer Bernie. He seems to be the more honest of the 2. Or maybe the only honest one of the 2. But I don't think he is as attractive to Democrat insiders as Obama was in 08.
2:58 pm
tuco
Funny thing about the Democratic party. We tend to elect who we want. The old saying goes Democrats fall in love, Republicans fall in line. This time all conventional wisdom is out the door.
2:58 pm
drwho
Tuco, if you get your wish it might be Trump vs. Sanders. vs Bloomberg!
3:00 pm
tuco
Bloomberg will never run. He has already said he won't. But even if he does he will pull votes away from Trump. Both Trump and Bloomberg are uber Capitalists so they would split that vote. Why would someone who is going to vote for Bernie vote for either Bloomberg or Trump?
3:01 pm
tuco
It is more likely the Republicans will run a 3rd party candidate if Trump gets the nod.
3:03 pm
drwho
Tuco, I think it is more likely Trump would run as a 3rd party candidate if he doesn't get the nod. But it depends on exactly how it goes down. There are scenarios where Trump could legitimately claim he was robbed, and others where I don't think he could.
3:03 pm
tuco
The biggest hurdle right now for Sanders is to demolish the meme that he can't win in elections. That he only does well in caucuses. If he defeats Clinton in Wisconsin by a decent margin that meme will be history.
3:06 pm
drwho
Bernie is the only candidate you have that is truly anti-big-business. Hillary talks a good game for the base, but she knows which side her bread is buttered on. I cannot see the party insiders actually supporting someone who would bite the hand that feeds them.
3:07 pm
tuco
I could see that happening too drwho. When Trump first announced I thought he would drop out. I am still amazed that he has gone this far. I believe he is in deeper than he wanted to be and now is playing it out. I truly believe his intention was to bolster his brand and never wanted to be the nominee.
3:08 pm
tuco
Agreed again drwho. Clinton is a DLC creation as was her husband. Still a better choice than any Republican. Unfortunately.
3:08 pm
drwho
We'll have to agree to disagree on that last statement.
3:10 pm
drwho
I'm not sure what motivated Trump in the beginning, but now that he has a legitimate shot I think he wants it just as badly as any of the rest of them.
3:13 pm
tuco
And I will agree with you on that he wants it badly too. When the brass ring is in grasp you want it. Thanks for the awesome conversation. I have always held that we SHOULD discuss politics and religion in public. It is the only way we can learn to be civil about it and realize how much we have in common.
