Don't mind the easy challenge after a long day at work. Getting cold too, brrrr, well cold for Perth 16 celsius today and most of us were wearing jumpers.

Think that;s about 61 faranheit for those of you so inclined, Is the US the only country in the world still in mph, feet and inches, pounds etc?

Phil, not sure if US is the only country, but really what difference does it make? The scientific community uses grams, meters, liters, kph, etc. I frequently use both depending on the situation. Everyday temps are easily converted using the C times 2 +30 formula. 2.5 cm = 1 inch, etc.

We're not the only country that still uses the Imperial measurements. We're one of three.
That puts us in the great company of Libya and Myanmar.

The same country that put a man on the moon, put the Hubble Telescope in space, funded the Human Genome Project plus countless other scientific advancements. Yeah - use Fahrenheit on the nightly news and have bathroom scales that report pounds and cars that measure MPH have really held us back.

Phil: 16 C is almost 40 F. Where I live that is a very warm winter day.

Oops, I inverted the formula, sort of; 61 F is correct. Very unusual to get that kind of day in winter here.

I just checked, it should almost get down to 61 F tonight (and it is nearly summer time here).
