Thanks Jerry, KnightTime didn't shut me down. I have just been very busy. I am going to let History speak for me from now on here. Putting foxes in charge of hen houses was done during the Bush 2 admin. We are seeing a replay of this today.

If we let History speak for us, aren't we just giving up? Is that the plan now, to play dumb and pretend we have all become powerless? Personally I believe our ideas are needed more than ever. If we keep our thoughts to ourselves they influence only our behavior as individuals; if we share them we may contribute to changes in group behavior.

Or is it just this group you are giving up on, tuco? That might make sense as there are probably more effective forums for your talent for social commentary.

History is nothing more than the imagination and interpretation of historians. So letting "history" speak is letting someone else speak for us. Rather shallow and fatalistic.

As far as shutting down Tuco, no thank you. I did not do that. I do not even know Tuco. He is entitled to his opinion and generally is articulate in expressing it.
