Going green. OH! I missed a loner. I hate when that happens.

Real easy after that loner. Not even pairs needed.

Now I'm in the bottom row of the regulars, which I consider less of a distinction than being in the top row of the newbies.

hmm, I've used a double xwing and a unique rectangle in conjunction with intersections to find some cells today. yuck. Suppose I should finish the puzzle though.

Difficulty score 25. Cross-hatching, virtual cross hatching and missing digit scans are the only techniques used by the computer. I used a hidden triple to break it open.

OrangeSlice, I saw a couple of X-wings, but on closer examination it turned out that cross-hatching gave the same information.

Rule of thumb, when an X-wing is confined to a chute (a band or stack of blocks) then it really isn't an X-wing, the same information can be obtained by cross-hatching the rows or columns.

Spreadeagle, thanks for the encouragement not to go green. I was stuck with 17 filled in too.

ick. today's made me sick. but it was mainly for my own blindness.

I've had two easy puzzles in archives so far, and this hard, and I think that'll push me into pro tomorrow, although it's going to be on the edge.

I think I'm a little over 100 short of being in the experts.
