Thank you, KnightTime. I will give that a try when I do not have access to a computer and am back using only my KindleFire. I am using Silk as my browser on the KindleFire, and have actually never tried to cut and paste on it yet, so I'll definitely learn something useful! Thanks again !

Hey, Judy. I have only used my Kindle fire without access to greens for well over a year. It may take me longer for some of the experts but I have finished all the puzzles to date.

Gosh... I just looked at what I wrote and it sounds like I am bragging...what I meant is that all the puzzles can be done without greens if you don't have access to them. It just takes longer and can be more frustrating. Good luck!

Thanks, Judy! Before reading chat messages about "greens' a month or so ago, I solved all puzzles in my head, too. I agree that some of the expert puzzles I encountered (in my 'working backwards' project) were too frustrating, so I skipped over them. But the 'using greens' technique made it possible for me to finish all the ones I've tacked to date (except for May 2, 2015 ... which I am still having trouble with ... understandable once I read the chat comments for that date (chuckle). Anyway, I don't think you are bragging because you can do the puzzles without greens; I personally am very impressed !

Judy, you can plug in a keyboard to your android device. Use an MHL cable (USB-to-Micro-USB), or buy a bluetooth keyboard.

that's a good tip, MrNate! I was intrigued, so checked for the cable on Amazon, and found something even better: a Belkin Kindle Keyboard Case for Fire HDX 8.9 which I had no idea even existed and which I therefore just ordered (the keyboard connects to the kindle via bluetooth as you described and it also comes with the micro-USB to USB cable you mentioned) THANK YOU ! I am much more comfortable with a keyboard than with a stylus, so now I will get more internet usage out of my ki ndle fire (which for years I have used only for reading)!
