I think the latest Paradise papers shows release us many things, not least that quality journalists with integrity are still alive and kicking despite the stupid anyone with a phone is a journalist brigade. Trump will probably still call it fake news but keep on tweeting, most of us have long since ignored you anyway.

I'm pleased to see the Aussie government trying to tackle the global company tax evasion.Be brave America, you too could tackle it, or maybe you won't, like you are unable to be brave in the face of yet another mass shooting, more wasted lives. Your government continues to care more about the gun lobby vote than the loss of lives.

Trump doesn't believe the latest killing is a gun problem, while he's in Japan, a country which now has strict gun control and in 2014 had just six gun-related deaths vs 33,000 in the US. Of course, they must be wrong too just like we are in Australia since we introduced strict gun control and dramatically reduced our gun related deaths.

Cut it out Phil. You don't know that Australia's 1996 gun ban dramatically reduced gun deaths. Nobody can know something like that. However, see the graph in this article:

Whil\ne the authors of the article are quite sure that the laws helped, the experts were not so sure. And the graph shows why. There was a decline in gun deaths before 1996 which pretty much continued at the same rate after.
