the chat log seems to indicate that looking for a triple might help. i've not gotten stuck yet, and i'm not using greens, so we'll see :)

well, screwed it up entirely, have to restart. not been a good week for me doing these.

oddly enough, now that I do it without greens it's done in three minutes.

i keep trying to tell people it's easier that way :)

I agree with earlier chats... I find doing a puzzle without greens is often easier. However, once I get stuck, greens usually open it right up. So, I never start with them, only use them when I have to.

true. my problem is I tend to use the greens first and usually find it makes the puzzle much too easy sometimes.

Agreed... or it confuses it horribly :)

after a long day at work the last thing I want to do is think too hard, so the greens are a way out. Maybe I should do the puzzle in the mornong before work gets too stressful.

I do it first thing when I wake up... sometimes that helps... sometimes I make horribly stupid mistakes :)
