jane - too late for this time. but if you save a guess by mistake and then save it. clear the cell and put a red number in, instead of the guessed numbe. If it turns out to be wrong, just clear the cell agin and carry on.

It will restore your faith Phil... I meant to go back and answer you the other day.. it got to "stupid hour" before I remembered... I can't chat and make sense on bigger topics when I get to that point.

i still fighting with yesterday's puzzle. It's being a real stinker

Can't believe I finally finished yesterdays puzzle. First time I have used greens in a couple of years but then took 3 guesses as well. Very hard expert!

ahh nice to have one I can solve without greens after the last two
