Tall Mike was right in his assertion that Kavanaghs performance was sufficient to disbar him from that office. I still can't understand why judges are appointed in such a political way? They should not be political in any way shape or form,

Phil since you keep asking.. it was hoped that the appointment and confirmation process would result in a more impartial court. Unfortunately as is always the case here money has corrupted the process. The solution to most of our political problems here is to get the money out of politics.

From where we are, we see that money is corrupting all levels of politics in the US. The way special interest groups and big business gain influence through lobbying and donating money is frankly disgraceful. And how do you put up with election campaigns that just start over again as soon as one finishes? We have 2 months max every 3 years and that's more than enough. They need to actually run the country!
