helen - I always loved music. I have a large collecion of digitized music, mainly '60s and 70s. And some 500 LP's. A couple of years ago I saw a Dead & Co concert on Youtube and realized I finally understood their music.

MrO - That's an impressive collection of music! I would say I have less than 1/2 of that. I also have quite a few 45's. I was fortunate to get into music when I was rather young. I've seen them play somewhere in the area of 3 dozen concerts. Traveled to surrounding states to see them, but not a roadie. No 2 shows ever alike, and it was true - Jerry may wobble, but he won't fall down. I've seen him wobble a good deal. The vibe at those concerts was always one of camaraderie and friendship. Their last show was here, in Chicago, and I tried very hard, but could not get tickets & not wealthy enough to pay scalper's prices. Recently, I was downright shocked to have run across a few t-shirts I own, on e-bay - $200+++ Crazy! Musicians have told me that many of their songs are difficult to play. Funny, because they are so easy to listen to :)
