The (German) Blaumeise or in Dutch Pimpelmees (Cyanistes caeruleus, Syn.: Parus caeruleus) is a little purple blue/yellow bird that is common both in the woods and in gardens.

... but all in a sudden it is hit here by a misterious disease, dying by the 10,000's in certain German areas and also in the Netherlands. Have they caught the Sars-Covid-2 virus? Of 5 dead birds collected yesterday in the NL 4 had pneumonia.
