Yesterday I finally vanquished the one archived puzzle that had been beating me, and I completed today's puzzle before the rankings update. Apparently, even though I have finished every puzzle, I am one point short of elite. Is there an explanation for this? Anyone know?

Look I know I'm supposed to not be political, but to give you an idea of how far from the truth Trumps tweets are, today he claimed the US was doing better than nearly every country except Germany. OK facts are - if you rank deaths per 1M population. US currently 13th worst at 118 per million. World average is 20.8 (US 5.67 times worse), and Australia 3 (US 39.3 times worse). So please will the US public listen to someone that actually tells the truth. And as for death rates per cases, Australia is at 1%, World average 6.9%, US 5.2% So please listen to the health experts.

However, the numbers? don't lie. 60% of the deaths and 1/2 the infections are exactly where one would LOGICALLY assume they would be:densely populated NE metro centers. That is a fact. For the balance of the country the numbers (so far) are not even at the highest flu season (5 years ago) Nor do they out strip the typical influenza season. This fact means that 90% of the population is either immune OR has contracted and recovered from COVID! C19 is MORE dangerous for 50+ and compared immune in the other age brackets, however, the numbers are not much diff than a typical flu season. IF you are listening to any news, you are getting loaded biased information. Find your own sources and see what the data tells you...not a talking head with an agenda who is interested in keeping your focus to push their ideology and advertisers products. It's bad business as an free thinking human unit.

Add to that, now we are seeing a greater reinfection rate. Personally, I believe the numbers are, to a good extent, under reported.

LOOK, the folks getting infected ARE AT RISK. Yes. I am not arguing that. I am saying two things: 1) 90% of the pop is in the SAME risk profile as a typical influenza season. Thus, the infection and recovery rates for 90% of the pop, who have contracted, AND have recovered, the difference between c19 and influenza season IS ABOUT THE SAME. 2) The recovery rate of those that contract and are hospitalized is higher, than the typical 2% death rate of Flu...but ITS NOT 10X! or 12X like Italy!

Last year 35,000,000 people WERE INFECTED BY FLU! Say the 700000 number report is off...it would need to be off by 5X's for the infection rate to be A REGULAR FLU SEASON!!

I know a number of people who have contracted it, recovered and are SEEKING to put their blood into the system to screen for their antibodies.

There is no 100% works every time vaccine for the flu. The flu mutates, this too will mutate.
