I stand corrected, I thought it was clear that I was referring to Trump and the people that follow him only listening to his lies and not seeing the big picture. Of course photos and tweets don't lie, it's the man who sends them.

It was heartening to see so few at his rally. Hopefully in the middle of a massive increase in covid19 cases in many of Americas southern states, hopefully the public is listening to the health experts not Trump or Pence or anyone else that says America is doing well in the cover fight. You're doing appallingly and thousands are dying needlessly daily. Wake up America. That goes for Brazil too. Similar sort of person at the helm.

It really puzzles me that the leader of a country can repeatedly make statements that are demonstrably untrue and yet it doesn't seem to matter, and people are still prepared to follow him.

There's no way he wouldn't be ridiculed and be sacked in just about any country. It's just so unacceptable to behave the way he does.

There is hope in the youth though, loved the idea of buying tickets to mess with his head. Great tactic. But use your votes when you get the opportunity, democracy needs the youth, and more women, and much less anyone who thinks its OK to walk around with a loaded firearm.

Phil - I completely agree. I'm also willing to wager a great deal that he bought many of those tickets himself, i.e. paid people to go to his rally. People who are loaded can do that. That's why they're so frightening. I highly recommend watching 'Jeffery Epstein: Filthy Rich' so you can see just how loudly money can speak. Horrifying.

Trump & Epstein were great buddies, hung around together. Pathetic.

This, to some good extent, explains why he remain in office, when it's clear to anyone with a few synaptic connections that he's thoroughly unfit to hold the office.

meh. Trump may be too bombastic and short-fused, but he and his administration have done positive things for this country. If I had to pick between him and Biden, he'd definitely get my vote.

RandLS - You seem like a 'meh' type person. Can you even name a handful of people, besides Pence, who are in his administration? No. No, you can't. Because it's like an effing revolving door at the WH. A machine needs to well put together & maintained in order to run well. There is NO 'administration' here. But more importantly, this man has single-handedly killed 10's of thousands of American citizens (with his vanity to create an American vaccine - major FAIL), allowed this virus to spread, & managed to ruin a great economy which was handed to him on a silver platter. A rational, educated person does not 'meh' serious things away.

helenkeller - You seem like you have all the answers, so why would i bother even responding? You think you have me pegged, off of one statement. Par for the course for those against the current administration.

America has had some of the BEST response to COVID-19. We flattened our curve very effectively, and Trump tried locking us down far earlier than anyone else wanted. Hell, the Democrats in Congress actually accused him of racism for even mentioning it. He and his administration have actually done TOO much, in my opinion.

Thanks RandLS, glad I struck a nerve.

We cannot stop deaths from COVID-19. That's a fool's errand. The best we can hope for is to not overwhelm our hospitals, which by all accounts (NYC excluded), we have MORE than done. We've had massive furloughs of hospital staff in my area, and many others.

I think you just made some people snort out the coffee they just drank. Go home & read a newspaper, maybe go to the library & read a paper not from this country.

RandLS
ahh, so you have no real response...just derision. gotcha. again, typical

Obviously we can't stop all the deaths. But we could have prevented many of those deaths. For example, we clearly see the virus is running rampant through nursing homes, places like that. Why is no one doing something about it? Like, gee, idk, separating those people, putting them up in unused hotel rooms, so there is more distance. It's a very simple solution. You seem to be able to put a price a person's life. Newsflash: You are not God.
10:31 am
RandLS
i agree completely. so why did cuomo stuff MORE people into nursing homes? and what does that have to do with the federal government?
10:32 am
RandLS
and obviously you're only interested in personal attacks ("You seem to be able to put a price a person's life). I said nothing about a price, yet you blast that at me. Im done, since you're obviously too emotional and attack-ready to have an honest conversation.

Bottom line is that the Feds hold this country together. State's rights is another tangled web of controversy.

I assure you, I'm perfectly calm. A person can indeed be angry and calm at the same time. Yes, Trump is willing to sacrifice people in favor of money, if you're voting for him. therefore you're doing the same thing. How is this eluding you?

Glad you feel it is a blast. I just wrote a whole bunch of stuff about taking care of the nursing home problem. Did you miss that? Cause that, right there, shows I'm "not only interested in personal attacks." Project much?
