A mate at school got 2% in his latin exam. On the blank piece of paper he wrote, Latin is dead, as dead as dead can be. It killed off all the Romans and now it's killing me. He promptly got up and walked out, forever to achieve legend status.

The iso standard is to write year-month-day. All programmers love this because it will allow a correct sort without problems.

Late to the conversation, but I'm an adherent of yyyy/mo/day. I name all my files that way and it's so easy to sort by date for court filings. Also love metric, which I learned in my years in Canada. Makes *so* much sense!

I've almost got it. But, alas...2.54 cm. is as good as 1609m.

It's not easy. You should try walking 1609m in my shoes.
