Do you remember your first digital music production MrO? Mine was Dire Straights, Brothers in Arms. Unbelievable. Still stands the test of time. As did Police and Roxanne which I've heard a lot on the radio recently.

@Phil - I was rather late buying my first CD-player. It probably was the end of 1990. It was a busy period, working as consultant for some large clients - so I was away often. Bought the CD player as a Sinterklaas present for the family. The first CD's were childens songs and populat classic (Bach, Mozart).
Then I heard Sibelius Violin Concerto in the first version (BIS-CD-500) - for me that was the first amazing digital experience. It was recorded in a church in Finland and the acoustics makes you feel really inside it.
Or maybe it was the music? Still like Sibelius: the 3rd symphony 2nd movement is amazing. Anyway, these days I have all my CD's copied to a server and play them through a media player.
