no, i play the regular Babble; sometimes, i go to the weboggle site for quick 3-minutes games - i did not know there was a "team babble" in weboggle !!??

yes, if people all enter the same name their scores count together (though not double on the same word), so many Babblers play under the name Team Babble.

if you announce that you are about to play in Babble chat, you can often collect some teammates for right then.

If anybody is still working on yesterday's Medium, there is a situation I've never seen described before in the upper left block.

it was another of those rare occaions where only guessing would get you the right result. Guess wrong... start over. Guess right... paydirt.

I did it without guessing, but I did find that peculiar wxyz thingamajig in the upper left.

Naw, the thingy in the upper left corner was an example of virtual cross-hatching. The scanraid site calls it box/line reduction.

Scanraid uses the term intersection removal, and lists 2 types: pointing pairs and box/line reduction. We usually see the pointing pair type, the box/line reduction technique is harder to spot and rarely needed.
