i have one and it is awesome!! shuffles dont have screens and the other ones are really bulky.

and a nano has a color screen

i really like the nanos, especially for their size, how many gigs does yours have?

min is 2 gig, and holds 500-1000 songs...not sure exactly how many.

nanos are easy to hide at school ;)

hm... and howmany songs do you have on yours now? like, are you running out of memory on your ipod?

the nanos are definitely smaller, but the big ones are far from "bulky"

right now i have 183 songs.

can an ipod, scribble or jake, be used as a jump drive... like, can it hold word and excel files?

yes

it can hold any type of files you want, but it can only play/show songs and pictures (and movies if you have a regular ipod)

and i have a ton of space left. the only bad thing is that mine wont hold videos

well, most audio books come as more than one audio file

the thing to think about when youre deciding what ipod to get is, how many songs do you listen to on a regular basis

like me for example, i have over 15,000 songs, but i only listen to about 900-1000 regularly, so i bought a 4gb ipod nano, cuz i dont need to hold ALL my songs

even though it would only cost me $50 more to be able to hold about 8x as much, i dont have any reason to

that's a good point, but then, it's like, for 50 bucks more, you get the videos, the extra storage, etc. ugh hard decisions

but if you do listen to like above 1000 songs regularly, a regular ipod is definitely a better buy... its not much more expensive, holds a LOT more, and is still very small (not as small as a nano, but it can fit in your pocket extremely comfortably, and that's what's important)
