And while it is highly unlikely that there would be a puzzle with two solutions on a site such as this, it is not an iron-clad rule that no puzzle can ever have two solutions!

You can occasionally find an expert puzzle on this site which is fairly easy to solve - or at least not expert-level - when a UR is used. I assume this is because Dr.God does not consider the UR to be a valid technique. I will readily admit that it is a fun and easy tool, and I will use it when I have to. For me, it falls into the same category as using greens. Some of us like the challenge of solving without that help, but will use them when needed.

no sin against using greens -- I use pencil marks when solving the puzzles in the newspaper. At my age, it helps me keep track of the possibilities.
