I am in my 70s, and while everything else is falling apart, my brain seems to have developed some sudoku-oriented neurons! I can see patterns and track possibilities more easily than in the past.

By the way, I apologize if any of my previous comments seemed like criticisms--that is not how they were meant. I am only a mid-level player and am in awe of anyone who can solve expert puzzles without greens and a guess!
