Personally I enjoyed the political banter but lots of others did not even though for the most part it was respectful, shame in a way as unfortunately social media has meant you get very biased feeds and most forums are very disrespectful of the other views, whereas most on this site were respectful.

The US political debate was so much polarized then. You couldnt have it online. But those days it was still very much possible to have it, say, between NL and AU. So Phil and I enjoyed it. Until it lasted. Now we cannot even state scientific facts that are denied by certain politicians. The world is in a really sad state. CO2 is causing climate change but Vance was denying it yesterday. 4 or 5 years ago AU politicians were saying the same but at least they were thrown out.
