Today I hope you will add to your prayers one for the repose of the soul of my great-aunt, Cah-Cah Prunes.

Her real name was Catherine, but due to an unfortunate mis-hap in Grade 7, she was known as Cah-Cah Prunes all her life.

Not to her face, of course.

She had a mean streak.

Anyhoo, today you need to say, "God bless Cah-Cah Prunes" so as not to have the BF confuse her with someone else.

I"ll be quiet now out of respect for Cah-Cah.

We think we have found a problem with the puzzle... we have a unique rectangle (both my wife and I) and when you resolve it, the puzzle is wrong. Anyone else seeing that?

29 is as far as I got too before greens. When you do go green (assuming you go green) watch out for the unique rectangle that isn't... or at least checkpoint before you try it :)

Went green, solved easily, never needed to look for the rectangle :-)

Yeah...

What happened was we both hit the UR but when we resolved it, it broke the puzzle. In going back and being more careful, we realized that the UR got further reduced (in a good way) by a naked pair we'd missed. And this was both of us working independently on it.

Difficulty score 29. I couldn't see it without green. And for some reason even with green I had to find a hidden triple. The computer says naked pairs is the toughest technique you should need.

Actually it was a naked triple, not a hidden triple that broke it open for me.

Ok, Ok. How about a Cocker Spaniel? I can shave him down, make him pass.

We could, in a pinch, use a child,with the expectation that the Big Fella would stay my hand at the crucial moment, (there being precedent for this) but, goodness knows, accidents happen.

If you will donate a lamb, you will be sent free tickets to Jesusland (following a "Gift of Love" donation; all major credit cards accepted), and you will be provideed with 50 ml of lambs blood with which to anoint your friends.
