Meme is a word that isn't registered for Babble.

I wonder how much Memes could effect our own gene pool in the wild, or maybe even not in the "wild."

Just think of the crusades.

Those people may have been genetically fit for a world with the Christian meme, but because that meme was not part of their culture they were memetically unfit. haha

Its just like two different species trying to occupy the same niche. Its neat how powerful memes are even though they are in a way not material. I guess we will know more after more neurological research has been conducted and more is known about intelligence/thought processes/THE BRAIN!

It would be interesting to find out how memes manifest themselves in our brains, and how much that could effect the gene pool. I feel like in modern times it won't be much. In fact, it seems to me that in the future an open mind will be the most attractive.

I just wanted to write it down/talk about it so I would remember what I was thinking about at 4:30 in the morning.
