Well Raggedy, after a crazy school day (the Friday before a three day weekend is always exhausting ... when it is also this close to final exams, it is moreso), I'm using the aids.

when does your school system get out?

Believe it or not, that's a complicated question to answer:
My distance learning students have finals on Tuesday and Wednesday next week and graduate on 3 June. My in-house students have finals Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the following week and graduation is 11June.

No -- sorry to be confusing. I teach some "regular" high school students and this year I have one class of students at a different high school that I teach in a "distance learning lab" with two-way live television.

Although not to school, I tend to wear sandals and shorts when it's in the 40s. Around 25 degrees I put on a light sweater. For me, Penguin is not just a cute moniker.

sounds like me, when i lived in detroit, but outside of the humidity and sheer heat, its not bad at all

i just found babble wouldn't load at first, but it worked after refreshing.

thanks--that makes me feel better. all my failures have come from trying the ariadne's technique, which requires a bit more patience and time than i've had to follow it.

me + patience = not very much...

but i guess you have to suffer through it to get those 5 points...

no, haven't finished--am still checking out the weblink you sent. am reading through all the techniques to see if i've done all of them before i guess. i wanted to see if there were any hidden triples, etc, but i truly can't find any--did you?

yeah sometimes working them out on paper helps.

and no...i cant find any way to use advanced techniques or deadly pairs or anything...

Actually, the teaching is great! It's the darned progress reports... I teach library skills and technology, depending on the age (more tech the older they get).

i'm doing it without possibles, so it's taking me longer

Yay! I finished, and just in time to leave for the movie. Have a great weekend, all. New Jersey is just outside of New York, not so glamorous, takes all its trash, has huge highways and factories, and people with odd accents. North Jersey is a suberb of Pennsylvania and New York dominates the rest, and it has nothing to say for itself. It has places like Secaucus, which is very smelly. So says my husband, who was born in East Orange, New Jersey!
