Hi all - is anyone else having trouble getting to yesterday's puzzle in the archives? I was able to do Saturday's, but Sunday's is missing.

its there for me, but i already completed it, so i dont know...

The whole site was down for me for quite a while yesterday. Maybe that has something to do with it and it'll be fixed soon.

I just guessed, eyeman. Probably wasn't a NEED, but for me.... well, yes I guessed. And it worked.

I saved and then guessed, not saving until proven wrong. If wrong, I can go back to checkpoint. Voila!

you shouldn't have to guess on an easy though, shrug

scan and solve what I can without marks, on easies I basically mark in my head

if i have to mark, then you mark it up and look for eliminations

then there's things like locked pairs, triples, pointing pairs to eliminate marks

can get tricky

on an easy if you fully mark, it shouldn't be that tricky really

eyeman - the 'easy' puzzles are 1 point, medium 2, hard 3 & expert 5 (I think...)) I believe the points are listed in the "help" function. : )

eyeman - I think the very first puzzle was an "Easy" so for the first day - yup, I only had 1 point : ) (altho' Dr_God, the creator, changed the point system so it might have been a little different...)...welcome to Iron Sudoku : )

heh, that happens a lot - the first expert i did took like 8 mins - followed by an easy that I had to restart 3 times
